Six-Week TOFU + MOFU Campaign Brief

The operational schedule that converts the seven-room asset library into a running campaign. Top-of-funnel awareness and middle-of-funnel consideration across all seven donor rooms (A Foundations · B Corporate · C Regular Giving · D Government · E Bequests & Major · F Health Sector · G International), anchored to the $19.25/week Room C offer and governed by the CMO Position Brief.

Owner: CMO (Claude, delegated)
Approver: Carla Oliver (Board-Appointed CFO Advisor)
Session: 8K
Status: Ready to run pending trigger (see §11)
Funnel stages: TOFU (awareness) + MOFU (consideration)

S01 Campaign objective & scope

Run six weeks of coordinated top-of-funnel awareness and middle-of-funnel consideration across all seven donor rooms so that when the operational triggers fire (ACNC registration confirmed, DGR Item 1 endorsed, first three MOUs executed, board formally activated), the audiences are already warm and the pipeline is already primed for conversion.

Primary objectives

Explicitly out-of-scope in this six weeks

RG 96 boundary
LWD funds; the licensed advocate (ACL 387398, held by Laurence Hugo via Credit Mediation Services Pty Ltd) acts. No campaign copy anywhere in this six-week programme uses "debt relief" — only "debt-hardship negotiation", "licensed advocacy", or "debt-hardship resolution". No campaign copy anywhere describes households as "clients" — only "beneficiaries" or "households". Language check is a hard gate on every artefact before it leaves the queue.

S02 Two-layer architecture: always-on + six-week programme

The mix runs on two clocks. The always-on layer is the durable infrastructure that works whether or not a campaign is running. The six-week programme layer sits on top and gives the six-week window its narrative shape, momentum and measurability.

Always-on layer

ComponentPurposeLocation
Website + kits Seven-room production kits + /awareness + /rooms-index. Cold arrival landing surface. /kits/room-{a..g}
SEO / AEO / GEO Rooms A/B/C/F carry 14–15 JSON-LD blocks each. Rooms D/E/G on the roadmap. Session 8K adds JSON-LD to / and /awareness. JSON-LD across kits
Email lifecycle 5-email welcome sequence + monthly newsletter + 6-email nurture (Room C anchor). See /paid-ads §Email. Lifecycle infrastructure
Organic social presence LinkedIn (governance/impact voice), FB (household story voice), IG (advocate/human voice). Runs continuously; six-week programme layers themed content on top. LinkedIn, FB, IG
Search intent capture Google Ads Search on cause + intent + direct-action keywords. Always-on brand + evergreen intent budget. See /paid-ads §Google. Google Search

Six-week programme layer

Six weeks split into three two-week acts, each carrying a narrative theme that unifies every channel for that fortnight. Every asset in every channel in a given fortnight speaks to that fortnight's theme.

S03 Weekly narrative arc

Every week has a single dominant editorial spine that every channel points to. This section is the editorial calendar; §S04 is the channel calendar; §S05 is the room calendar. All three must agree.

WK 01 "A specific harm you have not heard named"

Act I · TOFU · Problem naming

Open the campaign with the specific, named problem: households facing terminal illness carrying consumer debt, and the current absence of a purpose-built pathway. Introduce Margaret (composite, labelled). No solution language yet — the honesty of naming the problem carries the week.

  • Hero organic post (Mon): Margaret composite story · LinkedIn long-form · FB video · IG carousel.
  • Search: Google Ads Search on "terminal illness debt help" cluster (already-live keywords, budget +20% for the week).
  • Email: welcome-sequence subscribers get an add-in "Why we exist" edition.
  • Paid social: FB/IG cold-audience Story Video (Margaret composite), $AUD 300 test spend.

WK 02 "Not one household — a pattern"

Act I · TOFU · Prevalence

Move from single-story to pattern. Introduce David (composite, labelled) and reference Kwame (composite, labelled). This is the "not an edge case" week — the harm has scale, and current infrastructure does not address it.

  • Hero organic post (Mon): David composite story + comparison to Margaret.
  • LinkedIn thought-leadership piece (Wed): "The infrastructure gap between palliative care and financial advocacy."
  • Search: expand Google Ads Search to "consumer debt palliative" cluster.
  • Paid social: retarget WK 01 video-viewers with a "Meet David" carousel; keep cold-audience Margaret running.

WK 03 "Seven rooms, one house"

Act II · TOFU→MOFU · Solution architecture

Introduce the seven-room fundraising architecture. This is the /rooms-index week. Each room gets its own micro-explainer; the case that this is a designed system, not a wish-list, is made explicitly.

  • Hero organic post (Mon): "Why seven rooms and not one appeal" — LinkedIn long-form.
  • Daily organic (Tue–Sun): one post per room per day (A→G), each linking to that room's kit.
  • Search: activate Google Ads Search on "corporate ESG giving" (Room B) and "philanthropic foundations Australia" (Room A) clusters.
  • Email: newsletter edition — "The seven rooms of Life Without Debt".
  • Paid social: LinkedIn Brand+Cause campaign (Rooms A + B), $AUD 400 test.

WK 04 "The boundary that makes it legal, ethical and effective"

Act II · MOFU · RG 96 boundary

The RG 96 boundary week. Explain in donor-facing language why LWD funds and the licensed advocate acts. This is the "sophisticated donor" week — foundation programme officers and corporate ESG leads are the primary audience. The clean governance architecture becomes a positive proof-point, not a constraint.

  • Hero organic post (Mon): "Why our funding model is boring — and why that's the feature."
  • LinkedIn thought-leadership (Wed): case for compliance-as-competitive-advantage.
  • Search: activate "[ACNC registration pending] charity terminal illness" cluster.
  • Email: nurture-sequence edition to already-engaged prospects: "The compliance architecture behind $19.25."
  • Paid social: LinkedIn Partnership Exploration campaign, $AUD 500. Retarget Kit-A and Kit-B page visitors.

WK 05 "The $19.25 anchor"

Act III · MOFU · Room C activation

The Room C anchor week. $19.25/week = 1 hour of licensed advocacy = 1 household/year. This is the simplest, most repeatable story in the whole architecture, and this week the whole mix orients around it. Still consideration-stage, not conversion — the goal is bookmark, share, save, email-signup.

  • Hero organic post (Mon): the maths of $19.25/week, told cleanly with a Kwame composite anchor.
  • Daily organic (Tue–Fri): micro-explainers on the maths.
  • Search: Google Ads Search on "regular giving Australia" cluster + brand terms.
  • Email: welcome-sequence subscribers get a "here's the maths" edition; nurture-sequence subscribers get the ask.
  • Paid social: FB/IG Warm Impact campaign (retarget kit-c visitors), $AUD 500. Keep LinkedIn Partnership campaign running.

WK 06 "Read the kit for your room"

Act III · MOFU · Consideration close

The consideration close. Not a donation ask — an engagement ask. Route each audience segment to the kit that is written for them. Foundation officers → Kit A. Corporate ESG → Kit B. Regular giving intenders → Kit C. Health sector partners → Kit F. Bequest advisers → Kit E. This is the week the six-week sequence delivers a warm, segmented prospect pool into Sprint 8L.

  • Hero organic post (Mon): "Which room is your room?" — LinkedIn quiz-style + FB/IG carousel.
  • Daily organic (Tue–Sun): one room testimonial-style post per room per day.
  • Search: peak brand + intent budget; add "philanthropy adviser Australia" (Room E).
  • Email: nurture-sequence delivers segmented CTA per opt-in behaviour.
  • Paid social: full-mix week. LinkedIn Partnership + FB/IG Warm Impact + FB/IG Story CTA. $AUD 800 total.

S05 Per-room-per-week matrix

The room-side calendar. Rows are the seven donor rooms; columns are the six weeks. Every cell states what that room's audience sees that week. Some weeks a room is dormant (—) by design: not every room is on stage every week, and quiet is a legitimate cell.

Reading the em-dash cells
A dash means the room is quiet by design in that week — not neglected. Every room has an "always-on" residual presence through the website, kits and organic room-per-day cycle in WK 03. The matrix records the programmatic push, not the total exposure.

S06 Asset dependency map

≥ 3× baseline
"Life Without Debt" + brand terms in Google Search Console.
/ + /awareness sessions
≥ 6,000 sessions
Direct + organic; excludes retargeting audiences.
LinkedIn followers gained
≥ 250
Signal of governance-audience recognition.

Middle-of-funnel KPIs (consideration)

Warm leads traceable back to a touchpoint via /log-as-touchpoint.

S08 Compliance and risk register

Do
  • Say "debt-hardship negotiation", "licensed advocacy", "debt-hardship resolution".
  • Say "beneficiaries" or "households" when referring to the people LWD funds services for.
  • Say "clients" only when the ACL-holder (Credit Mediation Services) is the actor.
  • Label every composite case study as composite: "Margaret (composite)".
  • Use Australian English: recognise, colour, centre, organise.
  • Route every published artefact through the approval endpoint with human_approver = 1.
Don't
  • "Debt relief" anywhere in creative or copy.
  • "Our clients" when referring to LWD-funded households.
  • Cold outreach to Room G. Warm-intro discipline is non-negotiable.
  • Promise ACNC / DGR status until the endorsements are actually in hand.
  • Publish without approval endpoint acceptance — the guard is enforced.
  • Run BOFU conversion ads to cold audiences during this six-week window.

Risk register

RiskLikelihoodImpactMitigation
ACNC / DGR not confirmed before campaign launch MedMed Campaign is TOFU+MOFU only. All copy describes LWD as "proposed PBI charity" until confirmed. No tax-deductible language until DGR Item 1 in hand.
Composite case-study copy misread as real LowHigh Every mention labels composite explicitly. Beneficiary depiction guardrails enforced at approval endpoint.
"Debt relief" language slips through creative production LowHigh Language check hard-gated at approval. Agent prompts already carry the discipline. Publish endpoint refuses without approval.
Room G lead treated as cold-outreach candidate LowMed Kit G CTA is warm-intro request form only. No Room G paid ad targets cold cross-jurisdictional audiences.
Agent artefact published without approval Very lowHigh Endpoint-level enforcement (verified live in Session 8J): publish requires approval_status='approved'; approve requires numeric human_approver matching active row in humans table.
Budget over-run in a single channel MedLow Weekly budget caps in §S10. Weekly channel review Fri afternoons. Any single-channel over-run >15% pauses that channel to Mon review.

S09 Approval workflow & agent loop

Every campaign artefact — whether authored by a human or produced by the CMO Agent / Digital Marketing Agent — flows through the same lifecycle. This was verified live in Session 8J.

  1. Produce. POST /api/agents/cmo/brief or POST /api/agents/digital-marketing/produce. The agent writes to the queue with approval_status = "pending_review".
  2. Review. GET /api/agent-outputs/:id. Carla reads the draft. Checks RG 96 language, beneficiary depiction, composite labelling, Australian English, room-appropriate tone.
  3. Approve. POST /api/agent-outputs/:id/approve with {"human_approver": 1, "notes": "…"}. The endpoint verifies the numeric approver id against an active row in the humans table. String values are refused — verified live in Session 8J.
  4. Publish. POST /api/agent-outputs/:id/publish with {"channels": ["linkedin", "facebook", "instagram", …]}. The endpoint refuses unless approval_status = "approved". Sets approval_status = "published" and stamps the channels array.
  5. Close the loop. POST /api/agent-outputs/:id/attach-to-prospect and POST /api/agent-outputs/:id/log-as-touchpoint route the artefact into the CRM so the campaign contributes to attributable pipeline, not just impressions.
Verified operational
End-to-end test complete Session 8J. Artefact ID 1 produced by CMO Agent (cost AUD $0.012, 1,867 prompt + 157 completion tokens) → approved by human_approver 1 (Carla Oliver) → published to channels["internal_record"]. Human-decision-rule guard verified: first approve attempt with string "carla_oliver" was correctly rejected; retry with {human_approver: 1} succeeded.

Cost economics: at approx AUD $0.012 per short draft, the 54-post organic calendar (see §S06) costs approximately AUD $0.65 in agent tokens for the full six weeks of organic content. This is a floor cost, not a ceiling — reruns for revisions add proportionally.

Agent lifecycle endpoints implemented in src/index.tsx lines 1948–2245. Model: claude-sonnet-4-5-20250929, max_tokens 4096.

S10 Budget envelope (illustrative)

Illustrative test-tier spend. Every number here is a starting-point recommendation, not a commitment. Actual budget approval is a board decision, not a marketing decision, and this envelope exists to inform that decision, not to bypass it.

LineWK 01WK 02WK 03WK 04WK 05WK 066-wk total (AUD)
Google Ads Search $180$220$300$300$350$400 $1,750
Paid FB/IG $300$350$300$400$500$800 $2,650
Paid LinkedIn $400$500$500$600 $2,000
Agent tokens (Anthropic) $0.15$0.10$0.15$0.10$0.10$0.15 $0.75
Email platform (fixed) $0 (existing)
Weekly total $480 $570 $1,000 $1,200 $1,350 $1,800 $6,400
Why the ramp
Weeks 1–2 are learning weeks with cold audiences and no retargeting pools. Weeks 3–4 unlock LinkedIn because Rooms A/B move onto stage. Weeks 5–6 are the harvest weeks where the biggest retargeting audiences exist and the $19.25 Room C anchor gets its dedicated push. The ramp is the point.

S11 Activation triggers & go/no-go gates

This brief is authored and ready to run. Actual activation waits on the following:

Go / no-go gate for each week

  1. Fri of WK N−1: weekly review meeting. Every channel reports last-week performance vs. plan.
  2. Any single-channel over-run > 15%: that channel pauses to Mon review, spend reallocates within the weekly envelope.
  3. Any RG 96 language failure or beneficiary-depiction breach in published output: full-campaign pause. Root-cause. Fix at the agent prompt or the approval checklist. Resume next Mon.
  4. Any legal / ACNC / DGR development that changes the compliance picture: pause to next board review.
